Joseph Donald Scott Stull, 62, of rural Frankfort, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. He was born in Lafayette, on June 26, 1960, to Max Leroy and Beatrice (Jackson) Stull. He married Krista Beth Coonrod on October 31, 1992, in Middlefork, Indiana.; she survives.

Joseph graduated in 1979 from North Montgomery High School where he was a standout football player. After graduating he served in the US Navy. He worked for Milner Community Health Care as a floor tech. Joseph enjoyed being outdoors doing anything from fishing to mushroom hunting to spending time near the water. He took pleasure in cooking, woodworking, history (anything Civil War and WWII) and westerns. He also enjoyed spending time in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. But above all, he loved spending time with his family and grandkids.

Survivors include his wife, Krista; daughters, Elizabeth Stull of Whiteland, Sarah Stull, and Shannon Stull of Clarksville, TN; sisters, Debbie Woodard of Frankfort and Tersea Sailu of Evansville; sister-in-law, Judi Stull; and grandchildren, Addalyn, Sophia and Ole Stull, Raymond Garcia, and Harper Hansen.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a twin brother, David Stull, as well as by his aunt and uncle, Wildo and Kenny Brakefield who raised Joseph.

Per Joseph’s wishes, there are no services scheduled. Day & Genda Funeral Home~Bodine Chapel in Rossville is entrusted with the arrangements. Memorial contributions in Joseph’s honor may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association.
