Joseph Addy

Joseph Leonard Addy, Sr., 45, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at Franciscan Health in Lafayette.  He was born in Lebanon, Indiana, on March 26, 1977, to Leonard Joseph and Linda (Billingsley) Addy.

Joseph was a janitor at the Tippecanoe Mall. He formerly worked for Triton Air and Heat in Florida, Wabash National in Lafayette, and was known for being a mobile mechanic. In his younger days, he would do tree trimming. He enjoyed fishing, walking, camping, collecting hats and pocketknives, making things, but more importantly just hanging out with friends and family.

He is survived by his children, Chris (Megan Shoffner) Ray of Lafayette, Joseph Addy of Frankfort, Tyler (Victoria Smith) Addy of Frankfort, Alexus Addy of Frankfort, Sage Reuzenaar, and Zayden, Sapphire, and Serenity Summers; grandson, Khyler Ray; siblings, Ginger Addy of Louisiana, Melissa (Jose) Martin of California, and Jennifer (Kevin) Trueblood of Indiana.

He is preceded in death by his parents Leonard Joseph Addy and Linda (Billingsley) Neier.

Visitation will be on Thursday, March 30, 2023, from 4 pm to the start of the funeral service at 6 pm at Day & Genda Funeral Home 608 N Main St.  Frankfort.
