Thomas D. Hall, Jr.

Thomas D. “Tom” Hall, Jr., 56, of Bringhurst, passed away February 14, 2022, at Franciscan East Hospital in Lafayette.

Tom was born July 15, 1965, in Logansport, to Thomas D. Hall, Sr. & Ruby (Dillon) Coleman.  On August 15, 1987, he married Tonia Smith, and she survives. 

A 1983 graduate of Carroll High School, Tom was Assistant Football Coach at Carroll High School.  He was also the coordinator and a coach for the Carroll Youth Football League.  Besides his love for his family, especially his grandchildren, Tom loved his dogs and sports – watching, playing, and coaching.

In addition to his wife of 35 years, Tom is survived by their daughter, Courtney (Aaron) Long; granddaughter, Katherine “Katie” Long; grandson-on-the-way, Aaron Long, Jr.; brother, Charles E. Hall; sister, Jane (Tony) Homburg; and mother-in-law, Phyllis Smith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Vernon Coleman; and father-in-law, Bernell Smith.

Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Genda Funeral Home ~ Reinke Chapel, Flora.  Private graveside service will be held at Maple Lawn Cemetery.  Online condolences may be left at www.gendafuneralhome.com.
