Talmadge “Temo” Lee Taylor, 63, of Frankfort, passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Eskenazi Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born May 9, 1962, in Scottsburg to John Richard Taylor, Sr. and Wilda (Broyles) Taylor.
Temo served in the United States Marines Corps. in 1982. He worked at NTK Precision Axle. He was also a certified welder. He loved riding his motorcycle, going to the lake, fishing, and hunting. He was a joyful, free-spirited man, but had a stubborn streak. He was known as the life of the party and enjoyed being around his friends and family, especially was proud of his grandchildren.
Temo is survived by his mother; his sons, Matthew (Emily) Taylor and Michael (Jessie) Taylor; fiancé, Julie Durnil; his siblings, John Richard (Lisa) Taylor, Jr., Lillian Maggard, Jane (Buster) Fields, Terri (Timothy) Magennis, James Douglas (Sarah) Taylor, Zona Walters; grandchildren, Zofia Taylor, Silis Taylor, Mheka Taylor; his best friends Chris and Teresa Evans; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
He was preceded in passing by his father.
As a last gift to the world he enjoyed, Temo was a donor, hoping to give a better life to someone in need.
