Stephen "Steve" R. Church

Stephen “Steve” R. Church, 65, of Frankfort, passed away on Wednesday, November 18, 2020 at his home.  He was born on July 19, 1955 in Muncie, to Edwin “Leroy” and Ruth Ann (Shelly) Church Kelley. He was formerly married to Teresa Viney; they later divorced, he then married Kathy Coffman; they later divorced. He then married Thomas Fahey; he survives.

Steve graduated from Clinton Central High School in 1973. He had worked for Wal-Wart for 20 years and had been a former member of the Eagles.

In addition to his husband, Steve is survived by his mother; children; Nicholas, (Jenifer) Church of Texas, Nicole (Kenny) Peel of Texas, Nancy (Jared) Duncan of Texas and Vanessa Church of Kokomo; brothers, Michael Church of Frankfort, David Church of Pennsylvania, Jeff (Chris) Church of Kirklin and four grandchildren.

In addition to his father, Steve is preceded in death by his brother, Philip Church; sister, Linda Church; sister-in-law, Teresa Church; and father-in-law and mother-in-law Tom and Nora Fahey.

There are no services planned. Memorial contributions in Steve’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation or the American Diabetes Association. Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is entrusted with the arrangements.
