Shirley A. Richardson, 64, of Frankfort, died at 3:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 6, 2011, at her home.
She was born May 1, 1947 in Batesville, to Marshall and Dorothy (Hensley) Webb. She married Ronald J. Richardson on Sept. 16, 1967. The couple moved to Frankfort in 1968. He survives.
Mrs. Richardson graduated from Brookville High School in 1965. She worked at Emerson Electric for 39 years, retiring in May 2008. A wonderful mother to her daughter, Mrs. Richardson also loved all animals, especially her dogs, Sasha and Smokey.
In addition to her husband and mother, Mrs. Richardson is survived by her grandmother: Ada Hensley, who is 100 years old; daughter: Jennifer Ann (Jerry) Yancey of Burlington, Iowa; brother: Mark Thomas âTomâ (Stacey) Webb of Ohio; three sisters: Carol (Gene) Byrd of Liberty, Betty Jean (Andy) Norman of Maysville, Ky., and Becky (Charles) Holiday of Connersville; and two grandchildren: John and Joel Yancy.
She was preceded in death by her father and infant brother.
Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 12, at Sims Cemetery, Brookville, with Chaplain Zachery Rainey officiating.
Memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Clinton County or Alzheimerâs Association
