Scott Edward Muncie, age 53, of Kempton, passed away surrounded by the love of his family.  Scott Edward was born in Lebanon, IN, on May 27, 1970, to Ed Muncie and Rita (Woodard) Allen.  Scott married the love of his life, Glenda Sue Muncie, on December 30, 2000.  They shared 23 wonderful years.

Scott was a graduate of Lebanon High School Class of 1988.  After high school, he proudly served in the United States National Guard and attended Ivy Tech, where he obtained his degree in Electrical Engineering.

Scott enjoyed the outdoors.  He loved nothing more than to be in his garden, watching sunsets/sunrises, and vacationing on beaches with his family.  His favorite pastime was fishing with his favorite fishing partner, his son, Jaxsen.

Scott loved looking for deer and would stop and watch and take pictures to send to his family.  He loved fixing things, and anything Glenda would ask him to repair.  He lived to please her and their children.

Scott liked to watch football and loved the Indianapolis Colts.  Every night at 7:00 p.m., he and Glenda watched Wheel of Fortune to see who could guess the most puzzles.  He loved history books, UFO information, and loved IU basketball.  He coached his daughter’s softball and basketball teams and was President of Taylor Softball League where he made lifelong friends.

Scott was able to have one last Thanksgiving with his family, which was his favorite holiday.  He was so happy and full of joy having his family with him.

Those left to carry on Scott’s legacy of love are Glenda Muncie; children, Cheyenne (Levi Haney) Brumbaugh, Alexia (Luke Smith) Muncie, Brielle Muncie, and Jaxsen Jay Edward Eugene Muncie.  He leaves behind his faithful dog, Peanut.  Unfortunately, other family were estranged or adopted and left his life years ago.

Scott was welcomed into heaven by his parents, grandparents, and lots of his family.  He was also welcomed by Glenda’s father, Jay Moss, and brother-in-law, Larry Moss.

A private family service was held.  Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort assisted with the arrangements.  Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
