Roberta Hale

Roberta Hale, 93, of Frankfort, died at 11:35 a.m. Oct. 19, 2011, at Clinton House Health & Rehab Center.

She was a press operator at Uni-Electric and a member of Pilgrim Holiness Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing

Born June 8, 1918 in Rock Island, TN, her parents were Dan & Maggie (Aus¬tin) Roberts. She married Harold D. Hale on Dec. 29, 1934. He died Dec. 24, 1993.

Surviving are a daughter, Edith (husband Bud) Payne, Frankfort; six sons, Harold Ray (wife Elise) Hale, NC, Paul (wife Sandy) Hale, formerly of Lafayette, Billy Hale, Kokomo, David L. (wife Diana) Hale, Kokomo, Nathan (wife Vicki) Hale, Frankfort & Danny (wife Diana) Hale, Kokomo; a brother, Leonard Roberts, FL; 17 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Edmond Roberts.

Calling will be from 2-5 PM, Sunday, Oct. 23, 2011, Genda Funeral Home. Services are Monday, Oct. 24, 2011, at 10:30 a.m. at Genda Funeral Home, Rev. James Farney officiating. Burial will be at Bunnell Cemetery.
