He was born September 13, 1972 in Tarandacuao, Guanajuanto, Mexico to Santiago Hernandez and Alicia Silva.
He married Marta Pozos on November 14, 1997 and she survives. He is also survived by two daughters, Rosa Isela and Cristal.
Mr. Silva was employed as a groundskeeper at the Golf Course.
Services were held at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Frankfort on Saturday, December 31, 2011 at 10:30 AM with Fr. Christopher Miller officiating. Burial will be in Mexico.
