Renee E. Kelley

Renee E. Kelley, 44, of Lafayette, died at 9:00 a.m. Feb. 25, 2011, at St. Elizabeth East Hospital.  She was born Jan. 21, 1967, in Logansport, to Dean E. May of Cutler and Patricia K. Mathew of Onalaska, WI, they survive.  She graduated from Tri County Schools in 1984 and attended Indiana Business College and Northwood University where she received her Bachelors Degree.  She was married to Michael R. Coty in 1985 and they later divorced. She then married Mark J. Kelley in 1998 and they later divorced.  

She worked at Wabash Center as the Business Office Manager for 5 years. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Lafayette and A.B.A.T.E. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, watching TV and spending time with family and friends.  

Surviving are children, Travis M. Coty of Birmingham, Ala., and Jordan M. Coty (wife: Melissa) of United States Marine Corp stationed in Cherry Point, N. C., Daniel M. Kelley of Mulberry, Natasha R. Demerly (husband: Joseph F.) of Wolcott, Sheanna E. Kelley of Otterbein, Janelle M. Kelley of Mulberry, and Jessica Kelley of Mulberry; one brother,  Brian E. May of Richmond, VI; two sisters, Lindsay D. Stroup (husband: Lawrence) of Lafayette and Kelsey A. May of Cutler.  Also surviving are maternal grandfather, Isidore Mathew of Brownsville, Texas; paternal grandmother, Mary May of Delphi; and 2 grandchildren, Peyton J. Demerly & Ellie L. Coty.  

Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 2, 2011, at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville. Pastor Mike Vauters will be officiating. Burial will take place at Fair Haven Cemetery, Mulberry. Calling hours are 4-8 p.m. Tuesday March 1, 2011, at Bodine's. Memorials can be directed to Wabash Center and American Cancer Society.
