Phillip "Pee-Wee" Miller

Phillip Lee Miller, “Pee-Wee”, 69, of Lafayette passed away on Friday April 14, 2023. Phillip was born to the late Glen and Helen Miller on July 14, 1953.

Pee-Wee worked at Venetian Blind for several years in Lafayette, and later went on to start his own lawn care business called Country Boy Lawn Care, where he dedicated over 10 years of service to. Pee-Wee later went on to retire after being a true “Jack of all trades” to most that knew him.

When Phillip wasn’t working, he had a true passion for riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He loved to spend time with friends, and he loved to live on the edge. He was especially known for his unique personality, and his witty sense of humor.

Surviving  Phillip are his daughters; Shannon Miller and Amber Miller (Swearingen), Sister; Glenda Klaiber, Grandchildren Cody (Whitney) Jacobs, Lorren Jacobs, Gracie Adsit, and Kaleb Adsit, along with a great grandchild; Colton Jacobs.

Phillip was preceded in death by his son, Jared Miller.

A funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday April 21, 2023, at Day and Genda Funeral home in Rossville, with Pastor’s James Lewis and Mark Sanders officiating.  Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday, burial will follow in Rossville Cemetery.
