Norma J. (Greeno) Hoffman, 80, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2024, at IU Arnett Hospital in Lafayette. She was born October 30, 1943, in Frankfort, IN to Clyde and Anna Belle (Lewis) Greeno. She married Jerry L. Hoffman on August 19, 1961; he preceded her in death on August 4, 2011.
Norma graduated from Frankfort Senior High School with the class of 1961. She had lived in Kokomo for many years before moving back to Frankfort. Norma had worked for Furrow Building Supply, Pizza Hut, Kokomo Home Center, and Peter Paul Candy. She enjoyed bowling and was an avid Colts fan.
Norma is survived by her daughter, Tammy Weidner of Seguin, TX; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; son-in-law, William Deane Weidner, Marion Tx; sisters-in-law, Chris Greeno of Frankfort and Kay Hoffman of Lafayette; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Norma is preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Hoffman; brothers, Don, Carl, and Glenn Greeno; and a sister, Marilyn Hankins.
Visitation will be on Thursday, January 25,2024, from 10 until noon at Shirley & Stout - Lincoln Road Chapel 1315 West Lincoln Road Kokomo, IN 46902. Additional visitation and funeral service will be on Friday, January 26, 2024, from 11 a.m. until the start of the funeral service at 1 p.m. at Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort with Pastor Shan Sheridan officiating. Burial will follow in the Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort. Preferred memorials are to the Howard County Sheriff’s Department Canine Vest Program.
