Noble Fee Hodgen, 88 of Frankfort, died on Tuesday, October 26, 2010, in his home.

Born February 18, 1922 in Boone County, Indiana, he was the son of Wilbur C. and Georgia O. (Aldridge) Hodgen. On July 12, 1940 he married Mary Eleanor Stern and she survives.

He graduated from Jackson Towhship High School in Clinton County in 1940.  He was a retired farmer.  He had served as owen Township Trustee in the 1950's and was a Clinton County commissioner, Clinton County Republican Chairperson and served as State Representative in the late 1950's.

He was a member of Beard Masonic Lodge, served a Deacon and chaired the manse building committee of Geetingsville Presbyterian church and later became a member of the Rossville Presbyterian Church.  He was an avid sports fan following most sports throughout the year.  He enjoyed living on the farm and building a large pond which he and his family enjoyed immensely throughout the years.  It often served as the family meeting place.

Surviving are three sons, Ronald L. (wife Ellen) Hodgen of Somerville, AL, Jack R. (wife Phyllis) Hodgen of Frankfort, and William Jay (wife Sandy) Hodgen of Wolcottville, IN, one daughter, Marilyn J. (husband David) Minich of Logansport, one half-sister, Bonnie Shoppe of Greenwood, one daughter-in-law, LInda Hufford Hodgen of Virginia Beach, VA, one son-in-law, Mark Parsons of Lexington, KY, eighteen grandchildren, and twenty-seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Gary D. Hodgen, one daughter, Marcia C. Hodgen Parsons, two brothers, Jack L. and Ruston O. Hodgen, one half-sister, Joan Straw and one Grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 30 at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, with the Pastor John Everett officiating. Interment will be in Geetingsville  Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM on Saturday,  at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Rossville Presbyterian Church.
