Misty Monea (Frye) Brock

Misty Monea Brock, of Frankfort, passed away Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at Clinton House Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born May 10, 1965, in Martinsville to Glen Frye and Patricia (Large) Coleman. She married Gordan Brock in 1988. He survives

Misty attended Frankfort High School. She was a laid back, caring woman that people found an ease to talk with. She enjoyed dancing and bowling. But most of her time was spent with her friends and family. She loved them all dearly and had a special heart for her all of her grandchildren. Her strong love and care will be missed by those that knew here.

Along with her husband, Misty is survived by her children, Jason Frye, Marlena (Michael) Staublin, Andrew (Shaina) Brock, Keith (Meikayla) Brock; siblings, Allen Frye, Mike Frye, and Amanda (Vic) Barnhill; grandchildren, Kaydence Brock, Ily Berry, Kenzie Brock, Maleiya Brock, Abigail Staublin, Landrie Brock, Nolan Brock, Covin Brock, Isabell Staublin, Jameson Brock; step grandchildren, Gabby, Dani, and Justin; and many nieces and nephews.

Misty was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Elizabeth Dunham; stepfather, Gale Coleman; and siblings, Glenda Harper, Jeff Frye and Terry Frye.

Visitation will be held, Monday, December 15, 2025, from 11am until the time of the service at 12pm at Frankfort First Church of the Nazarene. Pastor Gordon Smith will officiate. Day & Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort is assisting with the services. Memorial contributions may be made in Misty’s honor to assist with expenses for the funeral.
