Miriam Davis

Miriam L Davis, 82, of Lafayette passed away on October 30, 2011 at 5:40PM at IU Health Hospital. She was born March 14, 1929 in Frankfort, Indiana to William & Jennie (Schierer) Armantrout. She married Jackie Davis on December 12, 1947  and he preceded her in death on October 10, 2007.

Mrs. Davis graduated from Mulberry High School in 1947.  She had worked at Purdue in purchasing.

She is survived by one son, Keefe W. (wife Susan) Davis, Lafayette, two grandchildren, M. Christine (husband Ben) McGlasson, King George, VA and Jackie J. Davis, Summerivlle, SC, five great-grandchildren, Carter, Mia, Jack, Grant & Miles, two step-grandchildren, tina (husband Jeremy) Gentry and Chris (wife Shelby) Rugh, three step-great-grandchildren, Graham, Jade and Ashton and one sister, Nancy (husband Fred) Workinger, NC.
