Melisa Jo ""Missi"" Metzger, 47 of Rossville, died on Tuesday, November 16, 2010, at 5:30 AM at Milner Community Health Care in Rossville.

Born Monday, November 4, 1963 in Frankfort, Indiana, she was the daughter of Joe and Jackie (Mink) Metzger.

She graduated from Rossville High School in 1982 and from Ball State University in 1986 with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting.  She had been employed since 1996 at Remington Seeds LLC in Remington as a controller.  

A lifelong Rossville resident, she served on the Rossville School Foundation, where she was a past president.  She was a member of C.O.R.Y. group in Rossville, AICPA and INCPS.  Missi enjoyed golf, basketball, and traveling.  She also loved to attend musicals.  

Surviving are a brother, Jon Tyler (wife Sara) Metzger of Taylor, MI, nephew Payne Pennington, niece Paige Pennington, a sister, Mandi (husband Jeff) Pennington of Rossville, niece Eden rose and nephew Jon Tyler Jr. ""Jack"".

A Funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Friday at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville, with the Pastor Jeff Peters officiating. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, November 18, 2010, at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Rossville School Foundation.
