Megan Alaine Hufford

Megan Alaine Hufford, age 18, of Rossville passed away December 10, 2025 . She was born February 21, 2007 to Randy and Kathy (Shuman) Hufford.

Megan graduated high school in 2024, after which she began working in the dog training and animal care field. Megan was a faithful serving member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She was looking forward to a mission trip planned for this next year, where she would be serving at an orphanage and spending time with people she loved. Megan will be remembered for her kind spirit, outgoing personality, bold faith in the Lord, and a vast love for any animal big or small. Megan could often be found listening to country or worship music and singing along. She was an avid hunter, spending as much time as possible during deer season in her tree stand. She was extremely caring and selfless. Megan remains selfless by choosing to be an organ donor, in turn saving many lives. Her laughter and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her father, Randy (Jerusha) Hufford; siblings, Katelyn (Steven) Thompson, Ashley (Loren) Rinehart, and Justin Hufford; and her dog, Bandit

Megan is preceded in death by her mother.

Visitation will be held December 12, 2025 from 2-5 PM and 6-8 PM at Rossville Presbyterian Church. Funeral service will be 10am, Saturday, December 13, 2025 at the church. Pastor Steve Gollner officiating. Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her mother. Day & Genda Funeral Home ~ Bodine Chapel in Rossville is assisting with the arrangements.
