Mauricio Ascencio, 54, Portland, IN, died December 27, 2011 in Portland at 12:20 in an automobile accident.
He was born in Ahuachan, Ahuachan, El Salvadore to Isolina Ascencio.
He is survived by three sons, Giovanni, Manrique and Cristian Ascencio, two daughters, Elivia and Natli Ascencio, three sisters, Lidia, Vilma and Rosario Ascencio, and five grandchildren.
Services were held Sunday, January 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Genda Funeral Home, Calimerio Rodriguez officiating. Burial will be in El Salvador.
