Marsha A. Grotrian

Marsha A. Grotrian, 83, of Flora, passed away Sunday, December 23, 2018.  She was born February 26, 1935 in Roanoke to Keal and Gresta (Smith) Burdoine.  She was a graduate of Roanoke High School.   She married Frederick Grotrian March 3, 1962, he survives.

She worked for the Boy Scouts of America in Kokomo before working in the office for the Town of Flora.  She was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Silver Bells Homemakers Extension Group, and a 20+ year member of Delta Theta Chi Sorority.  Marsha was passionate about her herbs and loved working in her herb garden.

Along with her husband, Marsha is survived by her sons, David (Tracy) Grotrian of Champaign IL and Brian Grotrian of Rochester; a step daughter, Sharisse (Charles) Cabrera of Elk Grove, CA; grandchildren, Kiera and Piper Grotrian; step grandchild, Christen Lewitzky; and two step great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Lonnie Allen; and sister, Arlene Weirach.

Visitation will be held, 1pm until the time of the service at 2pm, Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora.  Pastor Doug Givan will officiate.  Burial will follow at Maple Lawn Cemetery.
