Loretta K. Butcher

Loretta K. Butcher, 84, of Frankfort, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at IU Health Methodist Hospital.  She was born August 10, 1939, in Elwood.  She married, Doug Butcher on February 25, 1966, and he survives.  

Loretta worked as the office manager at Turtle Creek Apartments and then Paul Phillippe Resource Center.  She enjoyed going to horse races and golfing.  More than anything, she loved her family and enjoyed making memories and spending time with them.

Along with her husband of 58 years, Loretta is survived by several nieces and nephews including, Josh and Brooke Albaugh and their daughters Lila, Lainey, and Lucy, Mike and Susan Ross, Scott and Stephanie Ross, Larry and Kathy Ross, Shirley and Joe Hopper, and Debbie Wright.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 brothers and 6 sisters.
