Lester L. Beebe

Lester Leon Beebe, 79, of Spencer, IN, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. He was born January 13, 1942 in Newcomb, Tennessee to Jesse Leroy and Ella Mae (Schubert) Beebe. He married Deborah Jane Martin on March 7, 2003; she preceded him in death on October 29, 2019.

Lester graduated from Clinton Central High School. He had formerly lived in Frankfort and Poland, Indiana before moving to the Owen Valley Health Campus in Spencer. He served in the Army National Guard, was a carpenter for many years, and loved coaching Little League Baseball.

Surviving Lester is a sister, Maxine Eldridge of Locust Grove, GA; brother-in-law, Roger Impson; and was beloved by many nieces and nephews; many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

Lester was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Deborah Jane; brothers, John Henry and Harry Daniel Beebe; sisters, Thelma Deane Johnston, Joan Faye Beebe, and Wilma Jean Laflen-Impson; and brother-in-law, Harold P. Eldridge.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at the Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort until the start of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. with Sherl Eldridge officiating.
