Juanita L. Butler

Juanita L. Butler, 85, of Frankfort, passed away on Monday, December 19, 2016, at Mulberry Health.

She was born July 30, 1931, in Toledo, OH, to James and Opal Cline Martin.  On August 6, 1950, she married Jay C. Butler in Chalmers; he preceded her in death on April 5, 2013.

After high school, Juanita worked for 44 years as a property manager for Justus Enterprises before retiring in 1991.  She loved camping, fishing, and being around animals.

Juanita is survived by two sons, Blaine B. (Robin) Butler, of Frankfort, and John G. Butler, of Brazil; five grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Juanita is preceded in death by her mother, father, step-mother, Alma; and step-sister, Dorothy McIntire.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2016, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 10:00 a.m. to the start of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m.  Pastor Chuck Williams will officiate.  Entombment will be at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, at Concordia Cemetery.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
