Jill M. (Hughes) Kollar

Jill M. Kollar, 87, of Lafayette, formerly of Rossville, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025, at Rosewalk Village of Lafayette. She was born in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania on June 30, 1938, to Oliver and Frances (Silkowski) Hughes. She married Francis “Frank” Kollar. He preceded her in passing on August 9, 2019.

Jill was a graduate of Plains High School in Pennsylvania, Class of 1956. She worked several jobs over her years including, Inland Container and Sam’s Club. She attended Rossville Presbyterian Church. Jill was a woman with a strong personality that ran her house and cared for her family.

Jill is survived by her daughter, Carole (Bruce) Stocker of Rossville; two grandsons, Chris (Jessie) Stocker and James Stocker; and a great grandson, Jackson Stocker.

Along with her husband of 59 years, Jill was preceded in death by her parents; and a sister, Carole Hughes.
