Janet Marie Smith

Janet Marie Smith, 69, of Frankfort, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her home.  She was born September 8, 1950 in Kokomo, IN to Everett and Velma (Noblet) Gosnell.  She worked at Cornelia Veneer Company and Habersham Retreat in Georgia.  She attended The Lighthouse Baptist Church in Hollywood, GA. Janet enjoyed reading, puzzle books, and collecting bobbleheads. 

Janet is survived by her daughter, Liz (Michael) Holcomb on Tiger, GA; daughter-in-law, Bridget Smith of Frankfort; sisters, Doris (Kurt) Stinnet, Judy Rediseal, and Betty Hathaway; and grandchildren, Madison (Bryan) Mason, Mason Crow, Morgan Crow, Jake Halcomb and Josh Halcomb.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hubert Earl Smith; a son, James Smith, three brothers and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held in Cornelia, GA at McGahee, Griffin, and Stewart Funeral Home.  Genda Funeral Home is assisting with local arrangements.
