Hollis Lee Winnett
Hollis Lee Winnett, 67, of Frankfort, died on Wednesday, December 19, 2012, at his home.
He was born May 14, 1945, in Sparta, Tenn., the son of Hayden and Ova Higbottom Winnett.
On April 1971, he married the former Katherine Sharp; she survives.
Hollis worked as a self employed contractor for many years. He enjoyed hunting mushrooms, coon and turkey and fishing.
In addition to his wife, Hollis is survived by two sons, Hollis Winnett Jr. and Granville (Tiffney) Winnett, both of Frankfort; one daughter, Catherine Hall of Frankfort; two brothers, Charles Winnett of Frankfort, and Larry Winnett of Cookeville, Tenn.; nine grandchildren, and four step grandchildren.
Visitation for Hollis will be held on Friday, December 20, 2012, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort from 9 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
