Gwendolyn S. "Gwen" (Howie) Sill

Gwendolyn S. “Gwen” (Howie) Sill, 76, of Frankfort passed into her savior’s arms on April 30, 2025. She was born on January 11, 1949 in Nampa, Idaho to Dale and Ruth (Smith) Howie. She married Mark Norman “Norm” Sill on July 30, 1966 and he survives.

Gwen worked in administration at Indiana Wesleyan University. Gwen was a member of the Red Hats and Purple Chaps. She had a special love for horses and owned many over the years. She enjoyed raising animals. She loved showmanship and had several champion livestock. Gwen was ambitious and always found new hobbies, her latest being quilting.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years; son, Brian (Jennifer) Sill: Daughter-in-Law, Sharon Sill- Fuehring; brothers, Gary Howie and Mark Douglas Howie; sister, Jannie Kay Smith; and 3 Grandchildren, Megan, Kaleb, and Joshua.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a son, Randal Sill.

A Celebration of Life will be held May 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. in Amanda Reid Memorial Chapel at Wesley Manor, 1555 N Main Street, Frankfort, IN, with Pastor Eric Simpson and Chaplain Deborah Klemme officiating.
