Glenn D. ""Scotty"" Scott, 81 of Mulberry, died on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at 3:00 PM in his home.

Born Friday, January 4, 1929 in Tippecanoe County, Indiana, he was the son of Harold P. and Rosena Pearl (Hengst) Scott. On December 16, 1950 he married  Wilma Ferguson and she survives.

He was a 1946 graduate of Little Jeff HIgh School in Clinton County and was employed by Mulberry Cooperative Telephone Company for 50 years. Scotty was also caretaker at Fair Haven Cemetery for many years.

He was a member of Trinity Church of Mulberry and also attended Sunday School with the Goodwill Class. He was a 50-year member of Mulberry Masonic Lodge and a lifetimie member of the Wildcat Conservation Club.  Scott enjoyed sports and was an avid Purdue, Chicago Cubs and Bears fan.  he loved to mushroom hunt, play cards with his friends and family and had a true passion for gardening.

Surviving with his wife are three sons, David (wfie Lisa) Scott, Steven Scott, and Robert (wife kate) Scott, all of Mulberry, two daughters, Becky Scott of Mulberry, and Linda (husband Royal) Ping of Hudson, FL, one brother, Robert Scott of Mulberry, seven grandchildren, Shonna, Shane, Dru, Addie, kayla, Blake and jesse, two great-grandchildren, Cash and Chase and his best friend, Reggie, his shitzu dog.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 2, at Trinity Church of Mulberry with Pastor Merton Bobo officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2010, at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry.
