Elbert O. Boone, age 97, passed away December 29, 2012 at St Elizabeth Health Care in Delphi.
Elbert was born July 17, 1915 in Miami, IN the son of the late Carl E. Boone and Mary A (Bion) Boone. He was a graduate of Somerset High School. Elbert was a retired farmer and resided sixty years in Wabash County. On October 10, 1987 he married Dena C. Bell of Flora, IN.
He was a member of the Flora United Methodist Church and is survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife Dena C. Bell and an Aunt: Dortha Cary of Walton.
Funeral services will take place at 1:00pm on Saturday January 5, 2013 at Genda Funeral Home-Reinke Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00-1:00 on Saturday at the funeral home.
Burial will take place at Galveston Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Flora United Methodist Church.
