Edith A Welk

Edith A. Welk, 93, of Rossville, died at 9:50PM, Nov. 24, 2011, at Milner Community Healthcare.

Born March 10, 1918, in Clinton County, IN, she was the daughter of Perry J. &
Clara (Wagoner) Cottrell and attended Rossville High School.

Her marriage was to Floyd E. Welk on Nov. 30, 1939 and he died May 31, 2010. She was a homemaker and a farmer’s wife, farming with her husband her whole working life. She was a member of Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Church. She loved gardening and flowers.

Surviving are a daughter Betty (husband Darrell) Hufford of Rossville; son-in-law Maurice (wife: Regina) Wolf of Flora; brother Calvin Cottrell of Rossville;
8 grandchildren; 33 greatgrandchildren.

Preceded in death by parents, husband, daughter, Marie Welk Wolf, 3 sisters,
Elsie, Edna & Irene, 3 brothers, Alva, Richard and Infant Floyd.

Calling 2-4 & 5-7pm Sunday at Bodine’s, Rossville. Services Monday Nov. 28,
2011, at 10am at Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Church, Home Brethren
officating. Burial Middlefork Old German Baptist Brethren Cemetery.
