Dorothy Kemmerer

Dorothy L. Kemmerer, 93, of Atlanta, GA, formerly of Rossville, passed away on Thursday, November 16, 2017.  She was born August 18, 1924 in Clinton County to Sanford J. and Bessie (Kressley) Cripe.

Dorothy was a 1942 graduate of Rossville High School and was employed by General Electric for over 25 years before retiring in 1986.  She enjoyed gardening and crocheting.

Surviving family includes one daughter, Sally (James David) Colbert of Logansville, GA; seven step-children and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Dorothy L. Kemmerer will be held on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 at the Genda Funeral Home-Rossville Chapel from Noon until the time of service at 2:00p.m.  Burial will follow at Rossville Cemetery.  Donations in memory of Dorothy may be made to the Rossville United Methodist Church.  Online condolences can be made by visiting www.gendafuneralhome.com
