Donna Jean Timmons

Donna Timmons, 60, of Delphi, passed away Friday, November 16, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi.  She was born December 30, 1957 in Lafayette to Donald and Patricia (Clawson) Matthews.  She was a 1976 graduate of Carroll High School.  She was a graduate of Ivy Tech College Nursing Program.  She worked as an LPN in several area nursing homes.  She attended Life Changes Ministries and enjoyed crocheting and watching her building shows, especially Tree House Builders.

Donna is survived by a daughter, Sarah (Dustin Sr.) Gutierrez of Flora; a brother, David (Mara) Matthews of Flora; half sisters, Kathy Pennington and Dian Davis, both of Delphi; brother-in-law, Gene Knight of Flora and grandchildren, Kayleigh and Dustin Jr.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Herb Timmons; a brother Dan Matthews; and a sister, Lillian Knight.

Visitation will be held 4-7pm, Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora.  Funeral services will be 10am, Wednesday, November 21 at the funeral home.  Pastor Tom Bennett will officiate.  Burial will follow at Bunnell Cemetery in Frankfort.
