Donald "Don" K. Pearson, Sr.

Donald “Don” K. Pearson, Sr., 86, of Flora, passed away Thursday, November 8, 2018 at St.Vincent Hospital in Kokomo.  He was born February 27, 1932 in Radnor to Scott and Fannie (Kirkwood) Pearson.  He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.  He married Virginia (Long) September 26, 1953.  She survives.  Don worked for Tate & Lyle of 28 years.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, NASCAR and his Purdue Boilermakers.

Along with his wife, Don is survived by his children, Debra (Rick) Vaughn, Donnie Pearson, Jr., Becky (Doug) Draper all of Delphi, and Tracy (Joseph) Fassnacht of Battle Ground; eight grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, 5 brothers, and 2 sisters.

A private family graveside service will be held at a later date.  Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel is assisting with the arrangements.
