Avi Belle Brooks
Avi Belle Brooks, 69, of Monticello, passed away Tuesday, August 19, 2014, at her home.
She was born April 26, 1945, in Liberty, KY, to George and Hattie Reid Reed.
Avi received her GED at age 55. She worked as a CNA and caregiver at the Brethren Healthcare Center in Flora.
Surviving Avi are her children, Betty (George) Owens of Delphi, Barbara (Butch) Krisher of Bath, NY, Roberta Thompson of Indianapolis, and Robert (Tonia) Brooks Jr. of Lewisville, TX; 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, four sisters, two brothers, and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home Reinke Chapel in Flora at 1:30 p.m. with one hour visitation prior to the service. Burial will follow in Yeoman Cemetery.
