Amber C. Swearingen

Amber Christine Swearingen, 31, of Frankfort, passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2014, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

She was born January 29, 1983, in Houston, Texas, to Mark M. and Robin S. Huffer Hendry; her parents survive.  On May 19, 2008, she married Nicholas Swearingen; he survives.

Amber attended Clinton Central High School.  She was a loving, full-time mother.  

In addition to her parents and husband, Amber is survived by her children, Preston W. Swearingen, Greyson E. Swearingen, and Taylor N. Toney; and one sister, Markanna Huffer of Kokomo.

Visitation for Amber will be held on Friday, October 24, 2014, at Genda Funeral Home in Frankfort, from 4:00 p.m. to the start of the funeral service at 6:00 p.m.  Graveside service will be held at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort, on Saturday, October 25, 2014, at 10:00 a.m.  Burial will follow.  Memorials in Amber’s name may be made to Clinton County Humane Society.  Online condolences may be directed to www.gendafuneralhome.com.
