Alice M. Marshall, 90 of Mulberry, died on Sunday, November 7, 2010, at 1:36 PM at Clarian Arnett Hospital in Lafayette.
Born Saturday, October 16, 1920 in Ashgrove (Tippecanoe County), Indiana, she was the daughter of Harry and Rachel (Eskridge) Van Camp.
On April 5, 1941 she married he married Frederick L. Marshall.
He preceded her in death December 5, 2006.
She was a 1938 graduate of Battle Ground High School, attended Lafayette Business College and was employed by Fairfield Manufacturing for two years. She then worked with her husband on the family farm.
She was a member of Mulberry United Methodist Church for 70 years, Edna Mills Extension Homemakers Club, Estern Star, Home Study Circle, and High/Low Bridge Club. Alice served as a Precinct committee person for the Republican party and was a former Cub Scout leader.
Surviving are three sons, Van (wife Linda) Marshall, of Lafayette, Harold (wife Carolyn) Marshall of Mulberry and Gene (wife Linda) of Mulberry, seven grandchildren, and nineteen great-grandchildren.
She was prededed in death by two brothers, Lawrence Van Camp and Arthur Van Camp, and two sisters, Mae Glass and Esther Harrison.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday, November 11, at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry with the Pastor David Hummel officiating. Interment will be in Fair Haven Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, November 10, at Bodine Funeral Home, Mulberry.
