Aleen G. Perry, 97 of Mulberry, died on Wednesday, October 6, 2010, at 11:40 AM at Mulberry Health & Retirement Community.

Born Wednesday, September 17, 1913 in Sumner County, Tennessee, near Mt. olive, she was the daughter of James Issac and Maggie (Douglas) Graves.   She grew up in the Mt. Olive, Tennessee area.

On November 7, 1931 she married Floyd H. Perry in Scottville, KY.  He preceded her in death on February 1, 1999.

She was a homemaker and had been employed as a cook in the resident hall at Purdue University.  She was quilter and baked pies for Arnold's Restaurant and was called ""World's Best Cook"".  Nanny's h ome was always a shelter from the troubles of the world.

Surviving are three sons, Jack L. (wife Betty) Perry of Sedalia,  Arnold D. (wife Nina) Perry of Frankfort, and J. D. (wife Pat) Perry of Lebanon, two grandchildren, Brian Perry and Regina Perry and four great-grandchildren, Megan Perry, Justin Perry, Mikayla Passmore and Jannica Young.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, three sisters, one grandson, Jeff Perry and one granddaughter, Debbie Young.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville. Interment will be in Rossville Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Saturday, at Bodine Funeral Home, Rossville.
